Speedy deletion nomination of WorkCover Independent Review Office (WIRO)

[edit]

Hello 1wiro35,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged WorkCover Independent Review Office (WIRO) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Vanjagenije (talk) 01:00, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dan,

I got s deletion request and unfortunately I javen't mastered the wiki page as quickly as I had hoped. In the space of 25mins I had started the content and got a deletion request - distracting me from the task. In the end I thought the best would be to delete the content, keep the page, whilst I go back and re read the manual so that I can put content up with the appropriate citation in a quick way to avoid this drama. The page I'm creating is not for a private business but a new start up independent statutory body in new south wales. our website is www.wiro.nsw.gov.au . I'm not dodgy just a technical ludite.

Conflict of interest & username issue

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created WorkCover Independent Review Office (WIRO), and I noticed that the username you have chosen, "1wiro35", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website which relates to the entity in question, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or accounts that are shared. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our Conflict of interest guideline and Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Vanjagenije (talk) 01:01, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Dan653. I noticed that you recently removed all content from WorkCover Independent Review Office (WIRO), with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Dan653 (talk) 01:27, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
